My account’s about streetwear reviews and drops — mostly sneaker stuff — and while I was consistent with uploads and unboxing clips, my numbers weren’t moving at all. I even started questioning if I was just wasting time. Then someone from a Reddit group casually mentioned they used a service where you could buy instagram followers fast and cheap and that it helped get their account past that weird dead zone. I gave it a try with a pretty low amount, just to test if it made any difference. What surprised me was how fast the order came through and that the accounts didn’t look fake or spammy. But more importantly, it was like Instagram suddenly remembered I existed. My posts got pushed more, my next few reels landed more on Explore, and I even started getting DMs from newer accounts who said they found me “randomly.” I think it’s less about trying to trick people and more about boosting that first impression — because let’s be honest, when someone lands on a page with only 300 followers, they’re way less likely to take the content seriously. I still keep things legit, but this gave me momentum when I had none.

Sometimes it feels like platforms are less about content and more about momentum. Once the numbers start moving, everything else falls into place. But getting to that point without help can be brutal. There’s a weird balance between staying “authentic” and just being practical about visibility.
